Daniel J. Cabrera Castro, known as El Dibujo, was born in 1992 in Águilas, a small town on the coast of Murcia.
The nickname comes from his grandfather and his father, both fishermen.
Daniel grew up with the influence of the sea, fishing boats, the smell of nets drying in the sun, seagulls, crayons and a peculiar loneliness.
All this meant that his first works reflected the same loneliness and sorrow poured into characters such as fishermen, tattooed sailors or mermaids who sank in the depths of a sea full of colors.
Her style has been evolving, but the male figure is still her favorite subject. According to the author ''A man's body seems to me to be the most beautiful thing that exists, I paint it because I like men, that's why when I paint women, I inevitably make them masculine. I may be too gay..."
Since he finished his studies at the Murcia School of Art and began his career as an illustrator and painter, Daniel has exhibited solo in several cities in Spain (Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona, Murcia) and has reached Milan.
