Born in Oviedo in 1982. He has been working as an illustrator since 2010 and is finishing a PhD in the Creative Process. Graduated in Fine Arts in 2005 from the Faculty of Salamanca, his work as an illustrator tends to have a great graphic and narrative weight.
Graphic for his interest in posters and advertising; And narrative for the years in which he worked as a camera operator and comic book artist, being nominated revelation author at the Barcelona Comic Fair 2013.
She is also part of the Ultrarradio collective where new artists publish their work and disseminate the culture of drawing and comic events, workshops, publications and exhibitions. Monthly, he collaborates with magazines such as Yorokobu or Ling (Vueling).
He works as a teacher of creativity and illustration at the IED in Madrid.
He is a professor of illustration and patterns at Domestika (international design network), applying his patterns in textiles, advertising or press. He has more than 10 books published in several countries (France, Italy, Germany), with publishers such as Planeta, Paidós, Lunwerg or Astiberri. Díaz-Faes draws, eats and laughs in equal parts.
