It is surprising to discover that such a large man (1.94 m, 130 kg) produces such delicate and fragile art as the one he makes Randomagus (Benicarló, Spain, 1976). But hey, his
Collages deal with vulnerable themes such as concepts of masculinity, the idea of beauty and desire for desire's sake.
Recurring fragments of his art are hearts, tropical birds and flowers, sailors and of course men of vintage times, returning from the past after being found by
Randomagus online, in dusty thrift stores and flea markets, and also in photo albums and shoe boxes discovered at their parents' house. Or next to a dumpster on the street.
His work has been featured in magazines such as Et Alors, VICE, The Advocate and LeCool, as well as underground media such as JeuneBelgique and Faaaan!.
Although Randomagus is an inhabitant of Barcelona, several of his original works are part of private collections outside Spain: in the United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, United States, United Kingdom, United
Netherlands, France and Germany.
His most recent exhibitions have taken place at Downtown Gallery Antwerp, GalerieWind in Rotterdam, the Casa de la Cultura del Gironès in Salt (Girona) and at ['galeri] Barcelona.
