El Marquès, alias Adrià Ferrer Marquès (Malgrat de Mar, Barcelona 1988), is a young illustrator established in Barcelona.
Creator of an undeniable retro feel, his style combines the graphics of mid-century poster art and the aesthetics of printing techniques such as risography and silkscreen with the elegance of jazz covers. The end result is a mix of La Belle Époque, Art Deco and Rock'n'Roll , with a certain beatnik touch.
The Marqués has worked for clients such as Danone, Springfield, Campari, Cinzano, Codorniu, Forbes, Penguin Random House, Generalitat de Catalunya, La Pedrera-Casa Milà, Editorial Planeta, Editorial Santillana, New West Rècords, Bcore Disc or El Segell del Primavera.
