Christ Oval was born with a camera in his hand. He had solo exhibitions and participated in various competitions in which he did not end up badly at all, being recognized in group exhibitions on Joseph Beuys or Jesús de Perceval.
He left that stage behind to explore forms of expression that would take him out of his comfort zone and in Summer 2020 he discovered brushes and watercolor. Impossible colors for him due to his peculiar way of seeing life and Christ Oval confuses almost all colors.
Life, no matter how much it is described, does not see it like everyone else.
He finds in his invisible colors a new way of expressing feelings and becomes a child again including pencils and crayons in his watercolors that he uses without thinking too much, without seeking perfection, without wanting to be an expert.
The definitive push into the world of watercolor came through an auction to which he was invited to participate with one of his paintings.
And then, it started flying.
