María Melero, the talented painter from Jerez, immerses us in a world of still lifes that transcend the everyday. His paintings, almost like allegories, explore life and pause through flowers, plants and birds. Its distinctive color palette and strokes that evoke refined brutalism invite us to reflect on the ephemeral nature and beauty that lies in the simple.
In addition, his surrealist art also embraces transformation, with elements such as dead animals being reborn, broken hearts, and withered flowers sprouting again. In each brushstroke, María Melero invites us to contemplate life from a unique and nuanced perspective.
