In my work I bet on experimentation to merge graphic resources and aesthetic elements of movements such as Egyptian art, the Memphis Group, the culture and graphics of the 80s and 90s or the references of Art Deco.
The result is a game made up of geometric shapes and colour planes based on the phrase 'Form follows fun', the motto of the Memphis Group (which is based on the Bauhaus' slogan 'Form follows function').
A lover of architecture, I studied Interior Design at the Polytechnic University and later I was awarded a scholarship to study a Master's Degree in Textile Design at the IED.
Fabrics, wallpapers, pottery and, of course, graphic work are part of my current universe. I like to work with a simple but direct chromatic range, where architecture and geometry have a great weight, and transform it into a two-dimensional object. My technique is mainly digital, which does not mean that I do not want to work with manual and artisanal techniques such as screen printing or engraving, also very close to textile design.
