Juan Castaño

Juan Castaño defines himself as a teacher by profession and a draughtsman by vocation.

Born in Cartagena in 1976, he has been drawing for as long as he can remember, although it is true that it is in recent years that he has turned fully to illustration.
His style is very marked by Japanese kawaii illustration but he tries to make room for his personal way of representing his world, full of irony and situations that a priori may border on the grotesque but with the tenderness and innocence that his creations breathe. 2012 became the year of take-off of numerous collaborations and works that feature the images of Juan Castaño.
